The 21-year-old right-back who has spent the last two seasons on loan at Borussia Dortmund is set to leave his parent club Real Madrid in the coming weeks.
The Italian journalist has further claimed that the right-back has already agreed to sign a five-year contract with Inter that will see him end his 14-year long association with Los Blancos.

Hakimi came through the youth ranks of Real Madrid before making his debut for the senior team in the 2017/18 season. However, after failing to get game time at Santiago Bernabeu, he joined Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund on a two-season loan in 2018.
The right-back has hugely impressed with his performances in Bundesliga this season, scoring 5 and assisting 10 goals in the German top-flight for Lucien Favre’s side. His move to Italy has come after Dortmund snapped up full-back Thomas Meunier from PSG on a four-year contract last week.
Manchester City are closing in on the signing of 29-year-old Napoli center-half Kalidou Koulibaly as Pep Guardiola looks to rebuild his defense and challenge Liverpool for the title next season, as per Il Mattino.
The 2018/19 Premier League champions, who were dethroned on Thursday after losing to Chelsea, have had a relatively weakened back four this season.
An early-season injury suffered by Aymeric Laporte and poor form of both John Stones and Nicolas Otamendi has seen them fall 23-points behind Jurgen Klopp’s Reds.
Little wonder, then, that their manager is keen to plug the gap that has been exploited time and again by several sides in the English top-division this term. The signing of Koulibaly will surely strengthen their back four and help City mount a formidable title challenge next term.
The 28-year-old midfielder, who rose to fame after scoring a stunning volley against France for his country Portugal in the 2016 European Championships, has been on the transfer radar of the Gunners from the days Arsene Wenger was at the helm.
His departure from the scene combined with the Gunners bringing in the likes of Dani Ceballos and Matteo Guendouzi detracted the Gunners from their pursuit of the Frenchman, before Mikel Arteta decided to reignite the club’s interest in the defensive midfielder.
