Alisson Becker is out for few weeks due to a calf injury suffered during opening Premier League match against Norwich. Jurgen Klopp updated on the injury of Brazilian goalie who was substituted during the 4-1 win over Norwich.
Alisson was determined to keep his splendid form in the goal but a calf injury forced him out after just 39 minutes. The Brazilian international was then substituted with the summer signing Adrian.
Liverpool fans showed serious concern when the 26-year-old was taken out during the season-opener.
While giving an update on Alisson, Klopp said that the injury does not look too cool and it will keep him out for a few weeks. Alisson injury has forced Liverpool to sign Andy Lonergan on a short term deal as a replacement.
As soon as the Brazilian signed for the reds, he became an integral part of the squad as he helped club winning UEFA Champions League and going toe to toe with Manchester City for the Premier League title.
