Provided the Gunners agree to offer Matteo Guendouzi in return, Barcelona will be willing to sanction the Brazilian’s move to North London.
Arsenal have been given the chance to sign former Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho by Barcelona, reports The Independent.
The Gunners are looking to reshape their midfield ahead of next season as Mikel Arteta is aiming to restructure his squad this summer. Whether or not they’d be able to do so depends on the outcome of their FA Cup final against Chelsea as winning it would add to Arsenal’s transfer budget.
However, whatever the outcome of Sunday’s clash between the two London sides, Arteta is reportedly adamant of getting rid of Guendouzi. This information has convinced Barca to offer Coutinho to Arsenal provided they agree to offer £9m and the French midfielder in return.
The North London club aren’t the only Premier League outfit who have been offered the chance to sign Coutinho from Barcelona. Their city-rivals Tottenham Hotspur have also been the recipients of the same offer from the Camp Nou outfit.
Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Monaco starlet Benoit Badiashile and might launch an offer to secure his signing in the ongoing summer transfer window, reports Spanish newspaper AS.
The teenage French defender made 16 Ligue 1 starts for the Ligue 1 club and was one of their shining stars before the coronavirus pandemic brought the French top-flight to a halt.
Badiashile’s excellent performances for Monaco convinced the club to hand him a contract extension last year until 2024, but the Real Madrid manager is confident a deal could be struck with Niko Kovac’s side to bring the Frenchman to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.
Zidane is keeping an eye on the 19-year-old after being told by club president Florentino Perez not to expect the signing of any galactico star this year.
Speaking to the press ahead of his side’s Sunday’s clash with Arsenal, Chelsea manager Frank Lampard confirmed that the duo will be available for selection.
N’Golo Kante and Willian are fit and available for selection for Chelsea’s FA Cup final against Arsenal on Sunday, Blues boss Frank Lampard revealed in a press conference on Friday.
The French midfielder Kante hasn’t featured for the Stamford Bridge outfit since their 3-0 victory over Watford at the start of July. Willian, meanwhile, suffered a knock during the Blues’ 5-3 defeat at Liverpool earlier this month and subsequently missed the Blues’ final game of the Premier League season.
Their return from injury is undoubtedly a welcome boost to Chelsea’s midfield which will be without Reuben Loftus Cheek at the weekend. The England international is still recovering from his injury and won’t be available for selection on Sunday.
