The French manager oversaw the Arsenal side that went on to win the 2003/04 Premier League title without suffering a single defeat throughout the season.
Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has claimed that Liverpool have developed the ‘fearlessness’ that can allow them to go the whole of the 2019/20 Premier League season unbeaten.
The French boss was the manager of the Arsenal side that went 49 games unbeaten between the 2003/04 and 2004/05 season, winning a Premier League title in the process.
That Gunners’ side had Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp in the attack, with the likes of Patrick Vieira, Gilberto Silva, and Freddie Ljungberg marshaling its midfield. It won 26 and drew the remaining 12 games in the league during the 03/04 domestic league season to clinch the title.
Wenger, who took that side to new glories, now believes that Jurgen Klopp’s European Champions have what it takes to go the ongoing season unbeaten after the Reds opened up a 13 points lead at the top of the table following their 1-0 win against Wolves last weekend.
