Augsburg have won the second match in a row after sacking manager Baum. They are now 10 points clear of the relegation zone.

So what? Augsburg scored three first-half goals for the first time in their Bundesliga history. Augsburg scored six goals in a Bundesliga match for the first time as well.

And now? Stuttgart have conceded a league-high 67 goals after 30 matches.
VfB have conceded six goals in one Bundesliga match only once to date. That was in Bremen in 1985. Augsburg have already managed to score 15 goals from set pieces. They have now equalized the club record on this.

Bottomline: Augsburg are now 10 points clear of the relegation zone. VfB Stuttgart remain in deep trouble and face another relegation this season.
