Bayern Munich star regrets not joining Real Madrid, Manager admits Chelsea transfer target could be sold for the right price and more

According to reports coming out from Spain, the French full-back is regretting not favoring Real Madrid over Bayern Munich last summer.

Bayern Munich defender Lucas Hernandes is regretting not joining Real Madrid when he left for Bayern Munich in the 2019 summer transfer window.

Hernandez joined the Bavarian outfit for a club-record €80m transfer fee after making 109 appearances for Atletico Madrid during a five-year spell in the Spanish capital.

The 24-year-old has found it difficult to nail down his place in Bayern’s starting XI, with the Frenchman making only 14 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga leaders before the coronavirus pandemic forced the suspension of the German top-flight.

And if Don Balon are to be believed, his wobbly start in Germany has made Hernandez display his regret on preferring Bayern over Los Blancos. The report further claims that the player has spoken to Madrid’s president Florentino Perez and showed remorse over ignoring the club’s advances last summer.

Top News 2: Ajax manager admits goalkeeper Onana could be sold for the right price

Hakim Ziyech hoping to convince Chelsea to sign Ajax teammate Andre Onana
Onana wants a Premier League move in the summer

The 24-year-old Ajax goalkeeper has been tipped to follow the footsteps of former teammate Hakim Ziyech by moving to Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

Ajax manager Erik ten Haag has admitted that Andre Onana could be sold ‘for the right price’ upon the opening of the summer transfer window.

Onana has been linked with the likes of Barcelona, Chelsea and Tottenham in the past few weeks. The Catalan giants are reportedly looking for a reliable deputy to undisputable no. 1 Marc-Andre ter Stegen whereas the Blues are reportedly in the market for a replacement of Kepa Arrizzabalaga.

Spurs are also looking at the transfer situation of Hugo Lloris and may consider making a move for a goalkeeper in the market if the France World Cup winner decides to bid his farewell to the club when the transfer window reopens.

Onana has once again been instrumental for Ajax this season, keeping 15 clean sheets in only 37 appearances in all competitions before the Eredivisie was voided due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The Wales international allowed his final contract with the Gunners to run down its course before joining Juventus on a free transfer last summer.

Aaron Ramsey has revealed in an interview with Foot Truck that one of the reasons he left Arsenal last summer was to get out of his ‘’comfort zone’’, while also admitting that the chance to join the Serie A giants was too good to turn down for him.

Ramsey spent 11 seasons at Arsenal after moving there from Cardiff in 2008 and established his reputation as one of the most dependable midfielders in the English top-flight.

But after a contract stalemate with the club, the Welshman decided not to renew his contract and ended up joining the Old Lady last summer.

The 29-year-old has started only 9 games for Juventus in his debut season with the club, scoring 3 goals and assisting one in the process.
