Following the Nigerian international’s disappointing loan spell in Serie A, Inter Milan are reluctant to turn his temporary stay at the club into a permanent one.
Inter Milan are highly unlikely to meet Chelsea’s £10.75m valuation of Victor Moses after the winger failed to impress during his season-long loan spell in Serie A.
The Sun reports that although Antonio Conte is a huge fan of the former Liverpool midfielder, he will not pay more than £6m to sign him on a permanent basis.
Moses currently has only 14 months left on his contract with Chelsea and faces an uncertain future at the club should he return to Stamford Bridge in the summer.
The Blues, who already have the likes of Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic playing at the wing, have also signed Hakim Ziyech from Ajax ahead of the summer. The trio’s form and age both put them ahead of Moses who will be turning 30 in December.
Ivan Rakitic has hinted at a future return to his former side Sevilla in a documentary about Jose Antonio Reyes to be aired in Spain on Wednesday.
Sevilla have made no secret of their desire to sign the 32-year-old when he leaves Barcelona, but it looks highly unlikely that they could afford to sign him this summer.
However, with his contract with Barcelona set to run its course next year, Rakitic could return to Andalusia as a free agent.
He joined Barcelona in 2014 and has helped them win four La Liga titles and one Champions League during his six-year stay at the Camp Nou.
Following the coronavirus pandemic taking a hit at the clubs’ finances all across Europe, the Gunners have seemingly identified player-swap deals as a potential solution to monetary problems.
Arsenal will allow Alexandre Lacazette to join Atletico Madrid in the summer provided the Rojiblancos give them Thomas Lemar in return, reports AS.
Diego Simeone is reportedly a huge fan of the French striker and had signed him for Atletico in the summer of 2017. However, the transfer was stopped in its tracks by a FIFA ban that barred Atleti from making any signing until 1st January 2018.
Lacazette didn’t wait for the Spanish giants to come back for his services as he ended up signing for Arsenal in the same transfer window. His ongoing stay at the club has seen the Frenchman scoring 45 goals in 114 appearances for the Gunners.
However, while he undoubtedly impressed in his maiden season in the Premier League, the currently suspended 2019/20 campaign saw the Frenchman’s form for his club nosedive. The Gunners are therefore keen to offload him and bring in Thomas Lemar in a player-swap deal.
