Want away Chelsea midfielder Callum Hudson-Odoi is set to sign a new long term contract with the Blues.
After being heavily linked with Bayern Munich in the summer, the England international has now decided to stay at the Stamford Bridge for the foreseeable future, as per Football London.
The interest which the German club showed in Hudson-Odoi was far from being a product of Chelsea rumor mill – as the Blues rejected a sizable £35m pound bid from the German Champions for the teenage attacking midfielder.
At that time, it seemed that with only one year remaining on his current contract with the Blues, Chelsea risked letting the teenager go for free next season.
However, as news of the 18-year-old signing a new contract with Chelsea show, manager Frank Lampard can plan long-term with Odoi in his starting XI.
