Mesut Ozil only appeared 4 times this season despite being the highest-paid Arsenal player. The German was not even on the bench in EUL tie against Vitoria.
When asked about Ozil’s absence Emery replied: “Tonight is not the day to speak about that”.
Next up for the gunners is Crystal Palace on Sunday and it would be interesting to see whether the WC winner would make it to the starting XI or not.
