- Erling Braut Haaland continues to defy the age-old notion that scoring goals is the hardest part of playing football
- The Borussia Dortmund superstar was once again at his best as his side dumped Sevilla out of the competition
- His brace on the night was enough for Lucian Favre’s side to progress to the next round with a 5-4 aggregate victory
Here are the records Erling Haaland broke as Dortmund dumped Sevilla out of the Champions League:

The 20-year-old Norway international became the fastest player to score 20 goals in Champions League’s history with his brace against Sevilla on Tuesday.
The record was previously held by England and Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane who managed to score 20 goals in 24 games, while Haaland took only 14 games to complete the feat.
#2: Norway’s all-time top scorer in the competition
Erling Haaland has now scored more #UCL goals (20) than any other Norwegian player in the competitions history, surpassing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's record of 19 goals.

Prior to his much hyped move to Borussia Dortmund in January last year, Haaland was reported to be keen to join his former coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United.
That the move failed to happen would hurt Solskjaer more now given that Haaland has now surpassed the Man Utd manager as the top-scoring Norwegian in Champions League history.
#3: Youngest player to score in six consecutive Champions League games

The 20-year-old Borussia Dortmund superstar has achieved that milestone by scoring against the likes of Lazio, Zenit St. Petersburg, Club Bruges (twice) and Sevilla (twice).
What is equally impressive is the fact that Haaland didn’t score only one goal in each of these games. Instead, the striker destined for greatness has managed to find the back of the net an astonishing nine times in his past six Champions League games.
These are the set of statistics any football player would be proud to have in their resume, let alone a 20-year-old whose first appearance in the competition came only one-and-a-half year ago.
