How will Arsenal line up against Everton

Mikel Arteta’s side are coming into this Saturday’s clash with the Toffees on the back of a six-game winless run in the Premier League.

Arsenal will be aiming to end their six-game winless streak in the Premier League with a victory over high-flying Everton on Saturday night.

Mikel Arteta’s side are coming into this game with just five points separating them from relegation places. The North London outfit have amassed only 14 points from their opening 13 Premier League games and a defeat Saturday might send them to 16th in the table.

Equally worrying for the Arsenal faithful is the fact that the Gunners have played one game more than teams around them in the bottom half of the table. That means they’d now have to put together a multiple-game winning run to climb to the top half, let alone challenging for the top four.

Their form coming into this Saturday’s clash couldn’t be more different from their hosts. Everton, after enduring an early-season blip in form, seemed to have turned a corner in the last few games, defeating Chelsea and Everton in their past 2 outings in the English top-flight.

Throw into the mix the fact that the North London outfit will be without Gabriel Magalhaes on Saturday after the Brazilian was sent off in their 1-1 draw with Southampton in mid-week, and their hosts have every reason to be hopeful of clinching all three points.

Here’s how Arsenal are expected to line up against Everton: Leno; Holding, Luiz, Tierney; Maitland-Niles, Elneny, Ceballos, Saka; Pepe, Lacazette, Aubameyang
