Juventus ready swap deal for Pogba, Arsenal handed injury boost and more news

After the French midfielder’s agent’s claim that his client’s career is over at Old Trafford, the Serie A giants have reportedly begun preparations to secure his signing.

Juventus are ready to offer Paulo Dybala to Manchester United in a swap deal that would see Paul Pogba returning to Turin, according to The Athletic.

Mino Raiola, the French midfielder’s agent, recently told Tuttosport in an interview that Pogba’s career at Manchester United ‘is over’. The Italian super-agent then doubled down on his comments by aiming a dig at Red Devils’ manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer over his comments regarding Erling Haaland.

The Mirror claims that United haven’t taken too kindly to the criticism aimed at their manager by one of football’s high-profile agents, with the Old Trafford outfit reportedly left with a ‘frustration’ over Raiola’s claim that his client wants to end his stay at the club.

Andrea Pirlo’s side are reportedly looking to take advantage of the situation by offering Dybala in a swap-deal involving Pogba. The Italian striker has been a fringe player for the Turin-based club this season and might not be reluctant to consider a move away from the Italian outfit.

How good is Gabriel Martinelli? Bukayo Saka lifts lid on ‘crazy’ Arsenal teammate

After scoring only 10 goals in their opening 11 Premier League games, the Gunners could do with the return of the Brazilian forward.

Gabriel Martinelli has offered Mikel Arteta a huge boost by returning to action ahead of Arsenal’s Thursday’s clash with Dundalk, per The Mirror.

The Brazilian forward has been out of action since June when he suffered a knee injury during a Gunners’ training session. The 19-year-old had to undergo a procedure on the damaged part in the left knee and was sidelined for the subsequent six months.

His continued absence from the side has dealt a major blow to the Gunners’ attacking firepower, especially in the ongoing campaign where the North London outfit has managed to score only 10 goals in their opening 11 Premier League games.

Arteta would therefore be hoping that the Brazilian’s return to the side, combined with his decision to field Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang in the center-forward role, would help Gunners to put together a winning run and climb up the table.

Top News 3: Juventus to consider selling Ramsey

Juventus to consider selling Ramsey

The former Arsenal midfielder has made 10 appearances across the Serie A and the Champions League for Juventus this season, scoring no goal in the process.

Juventus are ready to sell Aaron Ramsey after getting frustrated with the Welshman’s lack-luster form at the club, per the Daily Mail.

The former Arsenal midfielder joined the Old Lady on a free-transfer from the North London outfit in the summer of 2019. His contract with the Serie A giants saw Ramsey receive £400,000 a week in basic salary, making the Welshman the highest-earning British player ever.

Thirty Serie A appearances and only 3 goals later, the 29-year-old has been unable to justify his astronomical weekly wages in Turin. His form this season has been exceptionally poor as the midfielder is yet to score a goal for Andrea Pirlo’s side in 10 appearances this campaign.

Little wonder, then, that Juventus are ready to cash-in on the former Gunners’ midfielder by offering him an escape route in January, with it being claimed that the Wales international would prefer a return to the Premier League where he still has plenty of admirers.
