Reports coming out from France indicate that the Red Devils have agreed personal terms over a five-year contract with the Porto left-back.
Manchester United are in talks with Porto after agreeing personal terms with left-back Alex Telles, according to French journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi.
The Red Devils have reportedly agreed a five-year contract with the 27-year-old who has made 192 appearances for Porto during his five-season long stay in the Primeira Liga.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are now in negotiations with the Portuguese outfit to hammer out a transfer fee that would see Telles become the 2nd signing for the Old Trafford outfit this summer.
However, United would have to move quickly if they are to wrap up the signing of the left-back as French champions Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be monitoring the defender’s situation at Porto.
Liverpool are close to making Wolves forward Diogo Jota their third signing of the ongoing summer transfer window, reports Mirror Football.
The report further adds that the Reds are willing to meet Wolves’ £35m+ valuation of the Portuguese attacker who has scored 44 goals in 131 appearances for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
Jota wasn’t named in Wolves starting line-up for their Premier League opener against Sheffield United last weekend, nor was the 23-year-old included in their squad for their Thursday’s night’s defeat to Stoke City in the Carabao Cup.
His potential move to Liverpool would give their manager Jurgen Klopp a reliable back-up option for the front-three as Jota could operate both on the left-wing as well as in the centre-forward position.
The Telegraph reports that the 31-year-old Wales international will sign for Spurs on a one-year deal that would see the North London outfit pay £220,000-a-week of his £600,000 weekly wages.
Gareth Bale’s imminent departure for Tottenham Hotspur has seen some sections of Real Madrid’s dressing room relieved, claims AS.
The Spanish news outlet further reports that the Welshman didn’t say goodbye to all of his teammates at the Santiago Bernabeu as his collected his personal items prior to his Friday’s flight to London to complete a return move to the Premier League.
Bale is set to complete his return to Tottenham seven years after he left the club to join for the Spanish giants. The 31-year-old won four European championships and one La Liga title during his stay in Madrid but still managed to court controversies due to his injuries and off-the-pitch behavior.
The forward isn’t the only Real Madrid star who will be signing for Spurs in the next few days, as fellow left-back Sergio Reguilon is also on the verge of completing a permanent £25m switch to the Premier League outfit.
