The 25-year-old Sporting midfielder has reportedly agreed terms with the Red Devils but both the clubs haven’t been able to reach an agreement on his transfer fee.
Sporting Lisbon assistant coach Emanuel Ferro has stated that he doesn’t think Man United transfer target Bruno Fernandes would be leaving the club this month.
Fernandez has ignited a long-running discussion on his transfer fee between the Red devils and Sporting, with both the clubs still unable to reach an agreement.
The Red devils are unwavering in their stance that £42m is the maximum amount they’d be willing to part with for a player who also attracted interest from fellow Premier League club Tottenham last summer.
Sporting, meanwhile, are adamant that given the season the 25-year-old is having at the club, as the midfielder has scored 8 goals in 16 league appearances this campaign, they won’t be selling him for anything less than £55.3m without including add-ons.
