Man Utd set to make final bid for Sancho, Messi slams Barca over Suarez exit and Kepa heading for Chelsea exit

The Red Devils are going to make one last push for the England international in the hope that they can convince Borussia Dortmund to lower their valuation of the forward.

Manchester United are set to make a ‘take-it-or-leave-it’ £90m bid for Jadon Sancho in the hope of landing the England international in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The Daily Star reports that United will offer £75m upfront with the remaining £15m in add-ons in their attempts to lure their No.1 transfer target to the Premier League.

It is also being reported that United’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward will make it clear to the Dortmund chiefs that this is United’s last bid for Sancho and that the Red Devils won’t raise their offer any further to meet Dortmund’s £108m valuation of their prized asset.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side has been criticized by the fans for its inability to wrap-up deals in the transfer market, with former Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek the only marquee signing that the Red Devils have secured so far this summer.

The 33-year-old former Barcelona forward has left the Camp Nou outfit to join fierce rivals Atletico Madrid in a €6m deal.

Lionel Messi has once again took aim at Barcelona for ‘kicking out’ Luis Suarez after the 33-year-old sealed a permanent move to Atletico Madrid.

The Camp Nou outfit allowed Suarez this week to join Diego Simeone’s side in a 6m deal, with new manager Ronald Koeman telling the club’s third all-time leading scorer that he was surplus to requirements at the Catalan outfit.

Koeman’s treatment of his close-friend Suarez was reportedly one of the reasons behind Messi’s efforts to engineer a move away from the Camp Nou earlier this summer, before Barcelona ultimate blocked the Argentine’s attempt to leave the club by refusing to let him leave on a free.

Suarez’s departure from the club has come after the likes of Ivan Rakitic, Arturo Vidal and Nelson Semedo were also moved on by Barca, with the Uruguayan’s huge salary at Camp Nou combined with his age reportedly convincing Barca to get him off their wage bill.

Top News 3: Kepa Arrizabalaga heading for Chelsea loan exit

The Chelsea goalkeeper has made more errors leading to goals this season (2) than the rest of the Premier League players combined (1).

Kepa Arrizabalaga is set to leave Chelsea after the Stamford Bridge outfit completed the signing of Eduoard Mendy from Rennes, reports The Sun.

The report further claims that Frank Lampard is keen to offload the error-prone goalkeeper on loan before next month’s transfer deadline day. His position in Chelsea’s goal will be taken by new signing Mendy who joined the Blues in a £22m deal on Thursday.

Kepa, 25, has been unable to justify the world-record fee for a goalkeeper that Chelsea paid to Athletic Bilbao to secure his services in 2018, with the Spain international having the lowest save percentage of any goalkeeper in the English top-flight last season.

Lampard replaced the Spaniard for a brief period last season before reinstating him in the starting XI at the start of Project Restart. But Kepa has been unable to get a grip on his high-profile errors and may soon be heading the exit door at Stamford Bridge.
