Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar has claimed that the idea of leaving the Parisiens hasn’t crossed his mind, with Sport quoting the Brazilian saying that he’s ‘very happy here in Paris’.
The 28-year-old forward joined Ligue 1 giants in a world-record €222m transfer in 2017. His debut season in France, which saw Neymar ruled out for the better part of 2nd half of the season due to injury, saw Les Parisiens win the domestic trouble.
However, while he also led PSG to another Ligue 1 title in the 2018/19 season and to the club’s 2nd-ever Champions League final a year later, rumors linking Neymar with a return move to Football club Barcelona have refused to die down.
But if his recent comments give any clue, which Neymar gave after his side qualified for the Champions League round of 16, there are more chances of Lionel Messi rejoining his former teammate in Paris than the Brazilian reuniting with the Argentine at Barcelona.
