More than two months after Los Blancos players returned to training, the duo is feeling the heat of the rigorous training regime.
Real Madrid stars Nacho Fernandez and Fede Valverde are set to face precautionary tests before they could join their teammates in the upcoming training sessions.
Marca reports that the training sessions devised by Zinedine Zidane and his assistant Gregory Dupont have taken their toll on the duo. Both of them will have to convince the club’s medical staff that they are physically ready to continue training as normal before they could join other Madrid ‘stars.
The report further claims that the club’s doctors believe that Valverde is fit and will be ready to train as normal from today. However, their outlook on Nacho isn’t as bright as they feel that the full-back still has to follow a lighter training routine for the next few days.

The message from the 23-year-old must have come as a shock to Barcelona who were planning to include him in a swap deal for Juve’s Miralem Pjanic.
Barca need to sell players to raise funds or complete player-swap deals for new signings this summer, with the club’s huge wage bill and the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic hitting the La Liga leaders hard in the pocket.
Arthur’s admission that he is planning to stay put means that the Blaugrana will have to find a different player to tempt the Old Lady into agreeing a swap-deal for the midfielder.
