Real Madrid transfer news: Midfielder wants to leave in January

According to reports coming out from Madrid, the Spain international is fed up at Santiago Bernabeu and wants to leave the club in January.

Isco is fed up and wants to leave Real Madrid in the January transfer window, reports Spanish news publication SPORT [quoting Diario AS].

The report further adds that the midfielder is unhappy with the game time being afforded to him at the Santiago Bernabeu this season. Isco has started only 3 La Liga games for Los Blancos this season and believes he’d get much more time on the pitch by moving elsewhere.

Isco has been quite vocal about his unhappiness regarding the lack of playing time. Earlier this season, the 28-year-old was caught on camera criticizing his manager Zinedine Zidane, who responded to the criticism in a diplomatic manner but failed to quell the rumors linking the midfielder with an exit.

Provided the Spain international ended up getting his way in January, he’d most likely end up at Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton. The Merseyside outfit are currently leading the race for the player’s signature, and with Ancelotti getting the best out of Isco’s former teammate James Rodriguez at Goodison, Isco reportedly believes he too could rekindle his career with a move to the Premier League.
