The Sporting Lisbon midfielder was reported to be on the verge of joining the Red Devils earlier this month but his move has appeared to hit a stumbling block since then.
Bruno Fernandes hasn’t already completed his long-rumored transfer to Manchester United because Sporting Lisbon aren’t satisfied with the bonus clauses United are offering as a part of the proposed deal.
The Portuguese playmaker has been linked with a transfer to the Premier League after exploding to the scene with his jaw-dropping performances in the 2018/19 season, in which he managed to score 33 goals in 55 games for Sporting.
Rumors circulating on social media at the start of this month claimed that the 25-year-old was on the verge of joining the Red Devils with many outlets reporting that Sporting’s Friday night clash with Benfica would be his last appearance for the club.
But with the weekend upon us and United set to take on fierce rivals Liverpool, there has been no visible development on the player’s reported transfer to United.
