French young player of the year and former Nice defender Malang Sarr joins Chelsea on a five-year contract.

The center-back, who can also play as a left-back, has vast on-the-pitch experience as he has represented France from U-16 to U-21 and also playing 100 games for Nice.

However, the Frenchman will be loaned out immediately to gain some game-time and experience, as confirmed by the West London club, but he may sort out the backline woes for the Blues for longer than expected.
