UEFA Champions League quarter-final draw: Ronaldo could face Real Madrid, PSG with dream knockout fixture , and more

After winning four Champions League titles with Los Blancos, Cristiano Ronaldo could face his old employer in the last eight of Europe’s biggest competition.

We may a see a thrilling encounter between Real Madrid and Juventus next month in Portugal when the Champions League will return to the action, but before that the two giants will have to complete a come-back in the second leg of RO16.

Zidane’s men, who were deservedly beaten by Manchester City by 1-2 in the first-leg before the pandemic took over in February, will travel to the Etihad on August 8 for the reverse game.

On the other hand, Juventus will need their talismanic man, Cristiano Ronaldo, to step up in the return tie after Sarri’s men were beaten 1-0 by Lyon at Groupama Stadium back in February.

However, the road to Lisbon for these two sides will be challenging as the winner will face either Barcelona or Bayern Munich – if the two made it to the quarters – in the last four of the competition.

Top News 2: PSG with dream knockout fixture

PSG with dream knockout fixture
Paris Saint-Germain will face Atalanta in quarterfinals of UCL.
The French Champions have the easiest draw among all the European giants as Tuchel’s men will face Italian outsiders Atalanta in the last 8.

With Ligue 1 title already secured and Coppa de France up for grabs, Paris Saint-Germain may finish the season with a treble after the French Champions drew against Atalanta – probably the weakest side of the RO16.

However, Atalanta, who are sitting 3rd in Serie A, are the dark horse of the competition having to come through from the group stage with the likes of Man City and Shakhtar Donetsk before kicking Valencia out in the round of sixteen.

Should Paris SG make it to the quarterfinals, the Red and Blues will face the winner of RB Leipzig and Atletico Madrid tie in the last four.

While many of their competitors playing regularly, Parc des Princes residents will need their star players to be at full fitness if they are to clinch their first Champions League trophy.

Winner of Bayern-Chelsea will face the winner of Barcelona-Napoli

With Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowski among the favorites to win Ballon d’Or 2020, Champions League success may have the final say.

Another electrifying encounter is on the horizon as Bundesliga champions may face struggling Barcelona with what would complete the line-up for 3rd quarterfinal of UCL.

Bayern Munich, who have already completed the domestic double with Bundesliga and DFB Pokal success, are now looking to complete the treble with Champions League silverware, but have to come over the likes of Barcelona and Chelsea.

The Bavarians have one foot already in the last 8 as they resume their Champions League campaign having a 3-0 first-leg advantage over Chelsea.

Whereas, Barcelona who are losing their grip on La Liga, will have a 50-50 chance against Serie A side Napoli as the first leg between them ended in a 1-1 draw.
