Ziyech scores in first league start, Super-sub Jota saves Liverpool, and Hazard marks his return with a MOTM performance

Hakim Ziyech scored one and assisted one in his first Premier League start as Chelsea beat Burnley 3-0 at Turf Moor.

After producing a superb display against Krasnodar in Champions League, summer-signing Hakim Ziyech came up with another MOTM performance, scoring Chelsea’s first and setting up Timo Werner for Blues’ third of the night.

Frank Lampard’s men took control of the game when former Ajax playmaker wrong-footed Nick Pope in 26th-minute as he found the bottom corner from Tammy Abraham’s lay-off. In-form defender Kurt Zouma doubled Chelsea’s advantage after the restart from Mason Mount’s corner.

Then seven minutes later, the Moroccan winger set up Timo Werner, who expertly finished to complete a comprehensive win for Frank Lampard. The Blues on a roll in terms of keeping tight at the back and the West London club haven’t conceded since 3-3 against Southampton.

Burnley win has lifted Chelsea to fourth, while horrible start to the season continues for Sean Dyche’s men as Clarets found themselves at 20th-place with only one point.

New signing Diogo Jota scored again as Liverpool climb top of Premier League with a come-back win against West Ham United.

Former Wolves’ forward scored for the third successive game and helped Jurgen Klopp’s men to grab all three points with a late winner against in-form West Ham.

The Hammers got an early lead, thanks to a superbly placed strike by Pablo Fornals who took full advantage from Joe Gomez’s poor headed clearance. However, the defending Champions equalized just before half time after Arthur Masuaku’s foul on Mohamed Salah allowing the Egyptian to score from the penalty spot.

After a tough going in the second half, Jurgen Klopp brought in Xherdan Shaqiri and £41m signing Diogo Jota. And a few minutes later, the two substitutes combined as Shaqiri’s sublime through ball was expertly netted by Jota.

“He’s much better than I thought he would be and that’s really impressive. He’s an exceptional talent. He has the speed, physicality, technique, and he’s both-footed.” Klopp praised match-winner Jota in his post-match press conference.

Eden Hazard scored his second goal for Los Blancos as the Belgian winger returns with a MOTM performance against Huesca.

After playing a cameo in a 2-2 draw against Borussia Monchengladbach in mid-week, Eden Hazard started for the first time in White this season and scored a superb long-ranger in an emphatic 4-1 win over Huesca.

Five minutes later, French forward Karim Benzema doubled Madrid’s advantage as Zidane’s men went to the break with a two-goal lead. Nine minutes after the restart, Federico Valverde put the game beyond visitors’ reach with Real’s third goal.

However, midway through the second half, David Ferreiro reduced Huesca’s deficit but it was too late to get anything from the game and then right at the death, Benzema with his second of the night completed a comprehensive win for LaLiga leaders.

Real Madrid have climbed the top of LaLiga with the win with 16 points, while newcomers Huesca remained in the relegation zone with five points from 8 LaLiga games.
